This project traces a journey from Scotland to the pilgrimage site 12 km north of the city of Šiauliai, in northern Lithuania. Over generations, the site has come to signify the peaceful resistance of Lithuanian people in face of threats they faced throughout history. Families placed symbolic effagies and crucifixes in place of perished rebels whose bodies were never recovered.
